Due to the fact that the last few years have been challenging in the waste industry, with record setting fuel and steel prices, it was decided it would be more cost-effective to put our routes together.  Willmar City Sanitation is working with our staff to achieve a smooth transition.  Dan and Pam Nissen will continue to work with their family business in the Sauk Centre area.

West Central Sanitation is celebrating its 30th year in providing high quality and dependable waste removal and recycling services.  We are the leading service provider in western Minnesota serving homes and businesses in over 10 counties.  Locally and family owned and operated, we try hard every day to be “Good Neighbors You Have Come to Trust.” 

West Central Sanitation adds Automated Collection.

We are proud to introduce our Automated truck, the newest addition to West Central Sanitation.  We are excited to add this to our fleet of over 30 trucks.  

We are using this truck to service the City of Willmar residential customers, and have expanded automation into the Richmond-Cold Spring and Paynesville areas. 

There is no additional charge to the customer for this truck and will not be any change in service.  We simply ask that your Good Neighbor Cart is placed at the curb with the wheels in back and three feet away from personal property.   The Good Neighbor Cart is free of charge to use for your refuse pickup.  If you do not have a Good Neighbor Cart, but would like to use one, please contact us. 

West Central Sanitation appreciates every employee and strives to maintain their health and safety.  This truck will make Arnie's and Garret's job less strenuous on their bodies, leaving more energy to spend enjoying their families.
